We post a lot of recipes on this blog, so we’ve been following this week’s Cooks Source scandal with interest. If you haven’t heard the story, there was a pretty good story about it on All Things Considered this evening. The short version is that a magazine stole a blogger’s article about apple pies, and when called on it replied:

As you can imagine, that has gotten everyone riled up. Just in case you’re confused, IP law still applies in the internet age, even though it can all seem rather confusing sometimes. I guess this is what’s known as a learning experience for the magazine editor.
