Friends & Relations

Just like Rabbit, we have lots of friends & relations. Unlike Rabbit, many of ours live in Vermont not the Hundred Acre Wood. This weekend we went up to Vermont for a memorial service for my Aunt Evie, and we got to see a lot of them.

My father Tom and Aunt Joan enjoyed catching up with folks they haven’t seen in a long while.

I enjoyed seeing cousins that we always seem to miss when we’re in the neighborhood.

A bunch of the next generation were there too. Tom and Peter got to see some cousins they haven’t seen since kindergarten, and a few that they’ve never met.

After spending time with my father’s side of the family on Saturday, we spent Mother’s Day with my mother’s side of the family. We went to brunch with my Grandmother. Here she is after the meal with my mom, Aunt Mary and Chris.

We also stopped by the old camp at Starr Farm Beach, where I spent all of my summers as a kid. It was nice to be able to show it to the boys, but It was awfully cold down by the lake. It doesn’t show in the photo, but it was snowing…in MAY!
