New Year’s
We didn’t stay up late last night. We did celebrate a bit after Tom hit submit on another college application. It’s not his last one, but he’s getting pretty close to the end.
Today a lot of people stopped by for our annual New Year’s brunch. They brought lots of yummy things to eat, and we had a good time catching up on all of the year’s news.
The teenagers spent a bunch of time comparing notes on their college applications. Everyone (kids & parents) is looking forward to the end of this process.
But after a while, the kids settled into what teenagers do best.
The odd look of the pictures is because I’m playing with a new fisheye lens. I don’t really have a feel for it yet, so I thought that this would be a good day to get to know it better.
