Way back when I was in the middle of the wiring harness, I added a Race Capture Pro data logger behind the dash. You can just about make it out in this picture from that time.
It’s the red box in the middle with the LEDs and connectors. You can’t see it here, but it also has a GPS antennae on one of the rollbar stays, and a bluetooth antennae above the passenger’s knees.
Today I finally got around to getting it all set up. It can display real time data on my phone, and it also logs CVS files to an SD card that I can then load into an analysis app. The result looks something like this:
Other things on this weekend’s todo list included corner weighting. That needed to be redone because of the new balljoints, but I didn’t have the good tires back on it until recently.
