Dan Gurney
Barn Find Hunter recently posted a video that I think is pretty exciting. They visited Dan Gurney’s shop and got a tour from his son.
Dan was my favorite driver when I was young. One of the highlights of my time in school was getting to meet him and talk shop in Gasoline Alley. That was the year AAR was running the yellow car you see in a picture that Justin points at when he says it was his father’s favorite.
The video ends with a visit to where they’re building the ’69 F1 car that was never finished. I think the ’67 Eagle was the prettiest F1 car of all time,
… so I hope I’ll get a chance to see this car when they finish it.
