Hawks at Fresh Pond
On my way to work every morning I usually go past Fresh Pond in Cambridge. Just across the train tracks from the Alewife T station, there’s an office building where there’s a pair of red-tailed hawks nesting. I noticed the nest many weeks ago, but there’s been much more interest recently as the chicks are visible. I haven’t tried to take any pictures as I’m usually too busy driving, but today the Boston Globe had a nice video featuring the hawks. In one of the shots you can see that someone has a webcam set up on the roof of the building pointing towards the nest, I’ve looked but I haven’t been able to find that on the web yet.
