Poults
This evening one of the local turkeys paraded through our yard followed by eight little puff balls. I was able to get close enough to shoot these pictures with my iPhone, because the poults weren’t interested in moving that fast. Even this close they’re hard to see because they hardly stick up over the grass.
By the end of the summer, those little blobs under the leaves will be almost as big as she is. They were heading into Turkey Patch (guess where we got the name), to settle down for the night. Maybe we’ll hear them in the morning.
