The Economist on Romney on Detroit
Our former Governor had an op-ed in the Detroit News the other day arguing, well I can’t quite figure out what he’s arguing. He seems to be trying to take credit for something he argued we shouldn’t do. Kind of like claiming he’s not responsible for the health insurance plan that he argued we should do.
Anyways, The Economist took a whack at trying to figure out what he’s trying to say. They don’t sound too impressed:
… the piece rivals Cirque du Soleil in its display of contortions.
They do say that they agreed with him back in 2008, but they point out that they later apologized for that position. It seems kind of hard to argue against Obama’s approach when took us from this to this in just three years.
