On the Ground
The Westfield is standing on its own feet for the first time!
This is only temporary. We’re going to mark out some of the details of where the engine goes before the front of the car gets too crowded. Then it will go back up on the stands for a while.
While it was down, we all had to take turns getting in and checking out how it feels.
Of course, when you do that, you’re obliged to stick your hands in front of you and make vroom-vroom noises.
It is really tiny. I can put the palm of my left hand flat on the ground while I’m sitting in the driver’s seat. And it looks like there will be enough room for my size 12 feet, just barely.
