Tom & I did some upgrade surgery on our house’s main machine this weekend. We went with this Mini-ITX motherboard.
It looks so cute, doesn’t it? What do you think it’s going to look like when it grows up?
To help keep things quiet, we used a water cooling unit. This copper hockey puck clamps to the CPU.
It contains a small water pump. Those corrugated hoses take the water to a large radiator which is mounted on the front of the case.
Unfortunately we messed up and ordered a non-modular power supply. This meant that things got a bit cramped.
But we did get it too all fit in the end.
