25TH Microcar Classic, at Last!
The 25th anniversary edition of our favorite car event was originally supposed to happen two years ago. Unfortunately, like so many other things in the last few years, it got cancelled because of COVID.
Well, last weekend it was back, and it was great! The weather was perfect, and lots of old friends that we haven’t seen in a long time managed to attend.
On Saturday, which was hot, but with enough clouds to block some of the direct sun, we went on a long drive, with a stop for lunch at Barber’s Crossing, which is an old favorite . We went to the top of Mt Wachusett, then stopped for ice cream in Sterling.
On Sunday, which was even hotter, we did some shorter drives. We passed the local MG club on their own ice cream run. We also visited AlphaCars, and after lunch at Pinecroft Dairy, we went to the American Heritage Museum and explored their amazing collection of military vehicles.
