Nikkor AF-S VR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6
This is a fairly pointless collection of photos, but I was messing around with a new lens today.
The office has been a construction zone for months now, so the easiest shots to get are ones like this:
But I did get out and find some flowers.
Faith wanted her picture taken too:
And there’s still a lot of action in the vegetable garden.
I’m pretty happy with the lens. The VR is really nice at this length. Most of those flower pictures were shot one handed at 1/125 seconds and 300mm. They seem pretty stable. And one the faster ones (like the construction worker) the contrast and sharpness seem pretty good. Embigefy to see the details at high-res. I like the detail on the construction worker’s hardhat.
