Lost

Posting has kind of slowed to a crawl here. Sorry about that. We’ve been dealing with some hardware issues. UPS’s don’t age very gracefully, and they like to take other devices down with them when they go.

While you’re waiting for us to get our act together, I highly recommend you go read Anil Dash’s latest: The Web We Lost.

It may seem a little bit get off my lawn at first read, but it does a really good job of explaining some of less obvious costs of all of the new gee-whiz silofication of the net. The comment section is collecting a lot of good stuff too.

I’ve just about got everything up and running again, so hopefully we’ll get back to posting soon. I have a new version of one of our old favorites running in a new language which I really want to get posted.
