Here’s my latest project.
The sides and the central hexagon are made of black walnut. The front surface is mulberry paper. There are a bunch of little brass screws holding things together. It’s about two feet across.
The dark spot in the center is a camera. There’s a tiny computer inside which uses the data from the camera and changes the color of 36 LEDs in response to what it sees. So it reacts to changes in its environment.
I’ll be posting all of the build details and source code over on github.
